This is something I often wonder until I take a step back and think about it from a different perspective. If you can get past my lathergic, unpleasant delivery at the beginning of the video below, I think there are a few good points.

The most obvious reason is that everyone knows “the house always wins.” If the house always wins, how could there ever be an advantage opportunity in the first place? If you can’t get past that first hurdle, you’ll never actually see an advantage play. Think of it like believing in a God or a creator. It doesn’t matter what “evidence” you give some people; they will never believe.

But beyond that, there are so many curveballs and red herrings out there that even if you’re a believer and you’re paying attention, you may get led astray to the point where you say, “The hell with it. This is all bullshit. There is no God! I mean advantage plays.”

An advantage game may have two or three fake tells while only one less obvious aspect matters. Or a machine may have a fake tell or two and there really never can be an advantage. It gets easier to decipher with more experience.

I cover some similar topics in the “False Flags” post.
