Talk about a trek! The STRAT is so far away from the south end of the Vegas strip that anyone who isn’t a maniac would take an Uber to get here. But I’m a maniac, so I walk everywhere in Vegas, including once from Excalibur to Fremont Street in the middle of summer. Don’t do that, as the area between The STRAT and Fremont Street is scary.
But enough about me. How are the slots at the STRAT? Meh, nothing special, from the few times I’ve checked it out. You’ll find a few interesting games that you won’t find at Caesars or MGM properties, but I did not find good plays left and right. It is Vegas, after all, where good plays are hard to find anywhere.
As I wrote about SAHARA, which is close to this one, I’d like to give The STRAT a real shot in prime time for a few hours rather than a quick drive-by at some random time of the day.
