What an interesting place. New York-New York is in the middle of the Las Vegas strip. It seems I say that about every casino in Vegas, but this one certainly is. It’s in the MGM Grand, Park MGM section of town, and by square footage (it’s on the smaller side), it may be the most competitive casino in Las Vegas.

There are advantage games everywhere, and it seems someone is lurking behind a dark corner at every turn (much like the real New York City at one point in time). Did I mention the place is dark? And for how small it is relative to some of the other casinos around it, I still manage to get turned around and lost at times while inside.

Will I always stop here while in Vegas? Yes, especially if I’m in that section of the strip. But at least from what I’ve experienced, I so rarely walk up on anything great, and if I’m going to camp for plays, I’d rather do it elsewhere than this place.
