I mentioned this in the Foxwoods video, but much has changed at neighboring Mohegan Sun in the past year since this video was shot. New machines are always being brought in. Mohegan Sun is one of the biggest casinos in the world, and it’s where I first started doing advantage slots seriously about six or so years ago.
I’ve since been banned from Mohegan, like many other advantage slot players, so if you do try this place, make sure you’re very careful. Don’t use your players card unless you really want to show action on a few long-run machines. And if you feel like security is watching you, you’re probably right.
I’ve been back to Mohegan plenty of times since being banned, but I need to be extra careful with possible hand pays and just being seen in general. But enough about me…the place is still quite competitive, even after banning several folks.
It’s rare to walk up on any sort of home run play, but it will still happen from time to time. And if you’re there at a busy time of day, there are still plenty of advantage play machines on the slot room floor.
