MGM Grand, for me, is a little overrated by what it’s built up to be.
The place is enormous and it’s right in the heart of the strip near MGM mainstays such as Aria, New York-New York, and Excalibur, to name a few, but something about it turns me off. Maybe it’s the level of competition (very high), the layout (mazy and expansive), or just the general atmosphere (somewhat chaotic and noisy). I can’t quite put my finger on it, as nothing is glaringly bad about the casino.
As far as advantage games, there are tons in every direction. I’m sure if you stayed here all day, you’d make just as much as you would anywhere else near it. But as I think I said in the video, I’ll sometimes avoid the place and stick with MGM properties such as Aria, Cosmo, and Bellagio.
