Golden Nugget was another nice stop on Fremont Street. They also moved their poker room a couple of weeks after I shot this video, and the fact that they have poker at all is a positive (at least if you’re into poker).
Golden Nugget is a big casino with a nice variety of advantage games. Yes, I noticed a good amount of competitionโon the high end by Fremont Street standardsโbut it wasn’t overwhelming the few times I stopped in.
As I said in the video, it seemed like any direction I looked I was finding an advantage game. Depending on the level of competition in a given session, it could be worth sticking around here all day under the right conditions. If it’s dead in the casino, however, things would probably be picked over for the most part.
