I often enjoy going to these smaller casinos, and Golden Gate Casino would qualify as a “smaller casino.” I wouldn’t call this place a “must-stop” or anything for advantage play, though.
Golden Gate Casino is located across the street from Plaza and near a bunch of casinos in the Fremont area, including bigger ones such as Circa and Golden Nugget.
The slot selection is what you’d expect, though there are three Regal Links. I read somewhere that this is the oldest casino in downtown Las Vegas, which makes sense with their vintage slot machine decor.
Hotel prices seem quite reasonable, and I’m sure if you showed just about any play, it wouldn’t be hard to get a comped room.
