My hometown casino! Much has changed since I shot this about a year ago, as they cycle in new machines constantly. The place is enormous; last I checked, it’s the fourth-biggest casino in the world and second-biggest in the U.S. You can sure feel all of that, as the distance from Fox Tower to Rainmaker feels like a decent-sized car ride.
How are the slots? Not bad. As of early 2026, they don’t seem to care a whole lot about advantage players, and my Chinese slot hustler brethren certainly got that memo, as it’s very competitive because of that.
I still go a few times per week on average when I’m not traveling elsewhere, and you can definitely grind out enough if you put in the time, but I’d be lying if I said the place was a gold mine. Neighboring Mohegan Sun also booted out many slot hustlers, and they found their way to Foxwoods.
