About a dozen people have been given pre-launch access to this website for the purpose of beta testing. We like what we’ve created, but there are still deficiencies that we want to address before going public in the next couple of weeks. This applies to the content, its delivery, and the overall interface on the website. For example, the first thing I see in making this post is that the font is very small and it’s not clear to me how to adjust that. Hopefully the expert behind this effort and the accompanying book, Breaking the Slot Code, Ben Rosenthal; our programmer, James Brazee; or the website coordinator, Tanya Maynard, will be able to either respond here to tell me what I’m missing, or do what’s necessary to solve that problem. We’re interested in any and all comments from you first users to make this website as tight as possible. Please post your comments in this or other MB threads. Don’t be timid. Let us know both the good and the bad so this site will be as effective and valuable as possible. Once we go live, all of you will have full comps for your participation.

Is there no way to adjust on the user end? Seems like there should be. Also, I tried to attach this message to the previous one and it looks like there’s no function to add to or edit your own post. Is that true?

Before I get into things, I’m wondering if there is a way to share images in the message board without having a URL or some kind of web hosting? I realize that could be asking a lot (I don’t have a lot of programming experience), so I understand if that’s not feasible). But I can imagine that users of this board might want to take a picture of a just-arrived game and then ask the community if anyone has seen it in their local casinos. Or if someone is feeling generous, they might announce the addition/unboxing of an advantage game on the floor at whatever casino.

I can imagine that some people (myself included) would be more likely to share pictures if they are able to paste images directly into the body of their message board replies or posts.

Also, for beta testing in general, would you prefer emails (e.g. to Admin@slotslayers.com) or posted here? I just sent an email to “Admin” with a short comment.

Hey, all. Thanks for joining! Yes, being able to post photos would be a huge plus. I tried doing that in another Message Board thread and wasn’t able to.

We should be able to program the posting of photos. Messages good to either that you cite. Here probably preferable so all can see, but some likely more suited to a direct email.

Is there a way to add a profile photo above my name?

I’m sure there is. We’ll put it on the list. What does the type look like on your device? Mine is almost too small to read.

The font size looks good on my end (computer and phone).

That said, when I click on the Games tab on my phone, everything looks congested and hard to read. Once I click on a game, it looks fine. But the screen with all the games on it doesn’t look right. I believe Tanya said in the past that it was something easy to fix.
