Well, I said I wasn’t a big fan of Wynn and Encore’s location, but once you get to Fontainebleau, you start getting so far away from the heart of the strip (Caesars, MGM) that it doesn’t feel as weird for whatever reason.

That may just be a personal feeling, as Fontainebleau is not all that far from Wynn and Encore. With Fontainebleau, you’re starting to head north toward casinos such as SAHARA and the like. It feels like a completely different Vegas experience to me.

That out of the way, I am a fan of Fontainebleau. The rooms are fantastic, and I was able to get a host and everything comped with what I felt wasn’t a whole lot of play. I still get free room and decent slot play offers to this day.

Is there competition? Of course, it’s still Las Vegas. But there are some fun slots you won’t find at the Caesars, MGM, and Wynn establishments, and I always did fairly well here by Vegas standards.

I did feel casino security watching me at times, and that is surely only going to get more intense in the months and years ahead, so I would suggest being as careful as possible and limiting machine touching as much as you can.
