Carnival Venezia Slot Tour

From what I felt and later heard, Carnival is taking advantage play seriously. They’ve pulled some machines, including ones on Venezia. The first time I went, they had much better AP slots than the next (losing Dancing Drums, in particular, hurt).

Further, when I was walking around looking for plays, I often felt watched and followed. While no one said anything to me outright, it was hard to miss. Also, I was comped very little while on the ship despite showing pretty decent play, so part of me wonders whether my account was flagged. I haven’t been banned that I know of, but I’ve heard of other folks being banned for advantage playing slots on Carnival.

Especially with cruise videos, make sure you’re looking at the most current footage possible. There’s not much floor space to begin with, so if an important slot is pulled, that can make a real difference. I always type in “boat name slot tour” into YouTube and see what I can find. Sometimes it takes some digging, but it’s always worth it.

My video, taken in I believe early 2025, shows a fairly depleted slot room floor. But because the bean counters at Carnival are aware of AP, I would be surprised if it got any better. And the boat itself was underwhelming if you care about that sort of thing. I don’t go to shows or anything like that, so I can’t speak to that, but the food was pretty gross, and the rooms were bad compared to the other cruise lines I’ve been on.
