      I was curious if you guys check for plays in high limit rooms. I know that high limit in general brings more scrutiny, but that could also mean more reward. Curious about what more experienced players think about this.

      I come from blackjack so high limit to me generally means more heat. If you look like you belong is it okay?

        I do, but it’s probably not worth checking more than once per hour, and that’s kind of pushing it.

          And like you said, I’d still check if I knew they were watching the HL room. I’d just need to be extra careful and not so brazen about flipping through all the bets.

            I love the HL room as it drastically increases EV per hour.

              I’ll add that it sometimes depends where we’re talking. For instance, at an upscale place like Wynn (pictured), where they always have staff in the high-limit section, I felt a little exposed clicking through the various machines. It also wasn’t busy, and I’d have felt more comfortable with more people in the room. Then it depends if you have any intel on the casino’s latest policy on advantage players. If they’re actively booting people, you’d obviously want to be even more careful in high limit. So there probably isn’t always a black-and-white answer.

                I’m sure hl comes with more heat. Have you experienced any trespasses, databasing, or facial recognition issues?

                I can’t play tables at my main local. They have good fr and know I’m in the building, but no issues so far.

                  I have not, thankfully. But it’s not hard to imagine facial recognition becoming more of an issue in the future.

                    I would second the notion that it depends on where you’re at. Resorts World on the Las Vegas Strip and Four Bears Casino in New Town, North Dakota are going to be completely different beasts when it comes to game protection measures.
