Has anyone seen the RTP ranges for these?  I just got a glance of the screen at a Stations property Phoenix Cash that seemed to say 89-90% but that doesn’t seem correct.

It’s hard to say. Without having some sort of inside info, even knowing the RTP of a casino wouldn’t guarantee it’s going to be the same from machine to machine. Further, because Phoenix Link/Cash tend to have so many different denoms, I tend to think the RTP is going to change as your denom changes.

As in, you could play something on a $1 denom with a lower number than you could on the 1¢ denom.

It really depends on where I’m going. Lately, I’ve been going to my hometown casino quite a bit: Mohegan Sun in Connecticut. It’s quite competitive with advantage players, even though they recently kicked out some APs. Not quite Las Vegas competitive, but not the easiest.

Long story short, I haven’t been putting in much volume in the week-plus since I got back from Aruba, but at Mohegan I tend to find a number of plays on bar games, particularly Golden Egypt and Scarab. Yesterday I found a home run Wolf Peak and a couple of maxed-out What the Ducks. While What the Duck is not a great game, even when maxed out, I did well overall on those.

My next trip is Oct. 19 to the Bahamas, and knock on wood, I’ve had a lot of success on my last 10 or so trips there, both at Atlantis and Baha Mar. When there’s not much competition at either, I’ll find plenty of Regals, Cashman Bingos, and Magic Treasures, among plenty of others.

RTP for them, like most games, are going to be as low as possible in Vegas.

I suppose it depends on what you’re comparing Vegas to. This article from early 2026 lays out some of the numbers.

One takeaway: Slots are getting tighter, especially on the Vegas Strip, but the RTP still isn’t often worse than anywhere else in the country (and it’s often better).
