…Yes, I am using my card for those longer-run games on bets over a couple of dollars (games in the orange-red section), or maybe if I happen to find some shorter-run games on a big bet ($20+)…

I don’t find too many plays at $20 bucks a rip, but when I do, it’s more likely than not I’m going to use my player’s card. Earlier this year I found a Buffalo Link play at around 1500 for $20 a spin. There was a decent chance of winding up with a taxable jackpot (although I was not so fortunate on my play).

I feel like hitting a taxable in the high limit room without using a player’s card could make you stand out more than having a jackpot show up on your tracked play, if you are already a carded member of the slot club, and especially if you already had some carded action that day.

On the other hand, I did skip using my card on a $28.80 Lucky Buddha play for two spins – in a spot like that, if you don’t wind up with a taxable, your play shows them exactly what you were doing, and if you do land a taxable in the first two spins, it’s more plausible that you “just sat down” or “were just getting to that”
