That’s a really good question. I don’t really live in a part of the country that has Class 2, so I haven’t run across it very often. My understanding is that they aren’t beatable, but then I’ve heard of people testing those game themes and having good results, I don’t know if that’s just variance or not.
I do know that in a similar vein…the Historic Horse Racing (HHR) machines that exist in places like Kentucky, New Hampshire, Wyoming, etc. do appear to have true persistence. In particular I’ve seen Money Balls and Stack Ups in HHR format, and they appear to function like normal…albeit without the ability to speed spin, because they have to show you the horse racing animation too. So maybe it isn’t so far-fetched to think that Class 2 games have found a loophole for persistence as well.
