El Cortez has gone all in on being a destination for gambling streamers. Lady Luck, Bluff, and Vegas Matt are some of the bigger gambling “influencers” who frequent this place, and that’s not close to all of them.
It makes sense, too, as the casino itself is otherwise underwhelming, both from an advantage slots perspective and from a neutral “I know what a great casino looks like” angle.
They sure didn’t appreciate little old me filming in their casino, as I knew they wouldn’t, and I was happy to get the footage I did before I was told to stop filming.
El Cortez is worth a quick five-minute stop for advantage play if you’re in the Fremont area, but there’s not a whole lot, and I wouldn’t be surprised if they looked out for advantage players (in a bad way).
