Bull Durham Casino is a real hole-in-the-wall type of place, but I don’t mean that as a negative. No, it’s not chock-full of advantage games or anything like that—in fact, there’s very little—but it’s a charming spot to check out.

Located near The Gilpin, Saratoga Casino, and Wild Card Saloon, Bull Durham Casino ended up being one of my favorite spots to quickly check out, but again, not because of the slots.

Then why? Extremely low food prices. And as I later learned, you could even get a free hot dog every day with your players card:

Is it world-class food? No. But it tasted better than it looked; I’ll tell you that. And one of the people working behind the food counter must have been the friendliest person I’ve ever met.

I’m a big fan of Bull Durham!
