I had a nice little run on Norwegian Joy, and it was a real heartbreak when I got a call from some number-cruncher who informed me I was no longer welcome at any casinos on Norwegian. I was coming off a back-to-back cruise where I cleaned up with hardly any competition, and that did me in. I didn’t know they had people who monitored advantage play, but it turns out they do.
From what I’ve seen in a recent video from early 2026 (h/t MrBucketlist), many of the slots remain the same as I remember them. It was hard to tell, as he wasn’t specifically filming the casino in his footage, but I definitely saw four Buffalo Ascensions, which some cruise lines (Carnival, MSC) have actively removed.
I haven’t been on in close to two years now, but if it’s exactly as it was when I used to cruise, I’d definitely recommend it. But be careful using your players card and try to show losses however you can, as they are monitoring advantage play.
