Now this is a fun one! Circus Circus gets kind of dragged for being this gross casino, and it does sort of have that vibe. But I think it offers a different kind of atmosphere that is a nice change of pace amid all the glitz and glamour of Vegas.
Sure, you’re not going to see some fancy Cirque du Soleil show here or find a Michelin-starred restaurant, but something about Circus Circus really appeals to me. It’s like a throwback kind of place.
Slots-wise, it has more AP games than you might think. I wasn’t finding play after play here or anything like that, as there’s nothing near the Vegas strip where you’d be able to say that. But if you’re only trying to make money grinding slots while in Vegas and you don’t care about Caesars, MGM, or Wynn comps, this might be the place for you.
Sign up for a Circus Players Club. I’m sure you could get the penthouse suite, if such a thing exists here, after not that much action. I say that kind of tongue in cheek, but, hell, I might actually try that one of these trips!
