*I am going to be a little lazy and include the same intro blurb for both the Palazzo and the Venetian. Yes, they are different casinos, but especially since I don’t frequent either one all that regularly and I only have so many unique thoughts in the chamber, I think it makes sense.

Here’s a casino on the strip that I’m admittedly not all that familiar with. I may have said it in this video or one elsewhere, but when I come to Vegas for six days or so, there’s only so much action I can show.
If I am trying to keep up comps at MGM, Caesars, Wynn (sometimes), Fontainebleau, and Resorts World, that’s a lot of mouths to feed. And since I am hopefully only taking +EV plays (i.e., I am not playing bad slots), and the competition in Vegas is extremely tough, some casinos get left behind.
The Palazzo is one of those casinos. I’ve never stayed in the hotel rooms (I’m sure they’re lovely, as it has an upscale feel), and some trips I don’t even make it to the slot room floor.
What can I tell you?
Well, your Venetian Rewards players card will work here. So if you happen to play at either, you’ll be building up your comps at both. The advantage machines are not all the same as you’d find at MGM and Caesars properties. That’s a positive, as I know how to beat almost all AP slots and not everyone else does. The competition seems high, though I would be surprised if it’s as intense as it is south on the strip. The location is interesting, as you’re heading north but still within walking distance of casinos to the south (MGM and Caesars) and north (Wynn, Fontainebleau, Resorts World, etc.).
Maybe one of these trips I’ll try to build up some comp action at the Palazzo and the Venetian and see how that compares to what I normally do.
