What you’re describing is possible, and I know of some people who do this because it’s a mostly untapped market if you want to call it that. As in, I know I’m not actively checking for something like that. The majority of advantage players aren’t, either.
If I walked by and happened to notice one of the lower progressives outrageously inflated and I cared about comps, I’d sit down. But I haven’t done something like that more than a few times (in part because I’m not looking for it). That said, I’d be in full guessing territory if I tried to give any sort of recommendation.
That said again, I’d echo what was said up top: “…if she absolutely must play quick hits, it certainly wouldn’t hurt for her to be picky about choosing the one with the highest progressive total, especially on the smaller progressives that might actually hit like the 5 quick hits jackpot.”
